Description
Based on the first book in the book Chronicles of the Kencyrath, one of my favorite books from when I learned to read in English. I was crestfallen back then when I found out the author had died before finishing the series, and all the books were out of print. I still am, I wish I could read the last book of the three that has been published.
This picture is inspired by the first passage in the first book, where Jame, the heroine, stumbles into a dark city with haunts after her, ready to collapse. Only to find the city seems unexplainably dead, and soon very dreadful. Passing papers warn her against all manner of things, and the last one reads "beware the dead gods".

Oh... Just thought I'd mention, I looked up P.C Hodgell (who writes the Kencyrath novels) and, according to her own website, she is alive and well. She has written 6 books in the Kencyrath series so far and is working on #7. I'm dying for it to come out! She posted a short scene from it on her blog! I think she likes to torture us..... lol.
